Winter 2016 – Resilience is defined as the ability to bounce back, recover from, or adjust to misfortune or change. Successful adaptation in the individual who has been exposed to biological risk factors or stressful life events. This bulletin looks at strategies to build protective factors and reduce risk factors to help children build strategies to cope with change and adversity.
